Vridhi Wadhawan

Building systems that
turn data into decisions.

I work at the intersection of business strategy, financial services, and AI — where the hard problem isn't building the model, it's designing the system that makes the right decision at the right moment.

At Deloitte's Global Financial Services team, I translated fragmented, cross-border client data into unified systems of record that financial decision-making could actually depend on. Not cleaned datasets — decision infrastructure. Recognised with two Spot Awards and the Amazing Addition Award for FY 2023–24.

Before that, I was an early hire at Vitrina AI — a Stanford Research Institute (SRI)-incubated startup rebuilding how the global media industry discovers and licenses content. I designed the intelligence layer: mapping 200+ companies, structuring 1,200+ data points for algorithm training, delivering market intelligence directly to the founder. Strategy work before it had a title.

Currently at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad on a 40% merit scholarship — sharpening the frameworks I use to translate ambiguous business problems into structured, deployable systems.

I don't just build models. I design systems that get used, decisions that hold, and frameworks that survive contact with reality.

Deloitte USI
Analyst — Digital, Data, Analytics and Innovation (DDAI), Global Financial Services (GFS)
2022 — 2025

Built decision infrastructure for global financial services clients — where data integrity isn't a deliverable, it's the foundation every decision depends on

Consolidated fragmented, cross-border client data into a unified, access-controlled system of record — improving data integrity and visibility across geographies where inconsistency had previously created blind spots
Implemented a cross-border compliance analytics pipeline that reduced manual review time by 40% — executing structured data architecture and repeatable validation frameworks across multiple research processes.
Acted as the local counterpart bridge across global teams — handling queries from onshore colleagues so client engagements could move forward without friction or delay.
Sourced and synthesised external validation from third-party databases across multiple research processes — ensuring outputs met the evidentiary standard that financial services clients require before acting.
Recognised with two Spot Awards (2023 & 2025) and the Amazing Addition Award for FY 2023–24 — for consistently exceeding delivery milestones within the DDAI and GFS practice.

Data & Product — Stanford Research Institute-Incubated Startup
2021 — 2023

Built the intelligence layer for an industry that ran on referrals — before the platform had scale, before the data had structure.

Joined as an early hire at a Stanford Research Institute (SRI)-incubated startup rebuilding how the global media and entertainment industry discovers and licenses content — tasked with structuring an ecosystem that had never been mapped.
Built the content intelligence layer from scratch: mapped 200+ companies, structured 1,200+ data points for algorithm training, and resolved 2,000+ incomplete data points to enable genre classification at scale
Developed deep domain knowledge across end-to-end video production and distribution stages — translating industry context directly into data architecture and classification decisions.
Delivered monthly and yearly market intelligence reports across 200+ companies — translating raw ecosystem data into strategic insight used directly by senior leadership in client-facing engagements.
Provided structured feedback on the proprietary platform from the data side — surfacing gaps and patterns from research that informed product improvements.

Wady's
Kitchen.

During lockdown, co-built a food video series from zero — no team, no budget, no playbook. Handled creative direction, filming, and editing across five episodes. Every iteration was a question: what actually makes something worth watching?
The answer, eventually, was the same as in any system — structure underneath, clarity on top, and the willingness to cut what doesn't earn its place.
